Developed from the Birmingham HIV Reference Forum (previously Birmingham HIV Joint Advisory Network), the Birmingham HIV Partnership was launched in October 2009 is the latest development in the city's response to HIV and AIDS issues, to improve joint working between organisations and people living with HIV. The group holds regular meetings to enhance the existing communication and collaboration between all parties and to develop new initiatives that respond to the current and future needs of the HIV community.
One of the groups two Co-Chairs has recently stood down and the partnership is looking for someone to fill this role.You may stand for election as a Co-Chair of the Birmingham HIV Partnership's People Living with HIV Group if you are:
- Living with HIV and;
- Living or recieving services in Birmingham and;
- Not a director, trustee, office-bearer or paid employee of a member organisation of the Birmingham HIV Partnership.
